Created on disused NSW Rail Corp land Wendy Whiteley has made a garden that is a lush, tranquil oasis with a million-dollar view. She began the garden at one end of the site, after the death of her former husband, artists Brett Whiteley, and just kept going until she reached the other end, where a railway siding exists on the edge of Sydney Harbour.

Note: Near the junction of Walker st and Lavender st. you will see the stairways down to the garden in front of Indian Harbourside Restaurant. 'Secret Garden' is nestled between Clark Park on Lavender Street and the Lavender Bay railway shunting yard.
