HARTLEY VALLEY GARDEN TRAIL AND PLANT FAIR
The Hartley Valley Garden Festival and Plant Fair will take place on the 19th and 20th of October 2024 and we hope to see you there!
Five fabulous, diverse and colourful gardens all located in the beau ...
Hartvale is nestled under Mount York with stunning cliff face views to the East and gorgeous views over the valley to Mount Clarence to the North. It is a constantly changing view due to cloud formations and the various seasons throughout the year.
These gardens are best from October through to early April. Poppies - that reappear like friends every year- combine with lavender, pink peony poppies, roses and irises. In Autumn, Zinnias, large marigold bushes, dahlias, snapdragons, cosmos and salvias take centre stage.
Nestled in the garden is the art studio where artworks by Jennifer Edwards are often for sale along with cards and prints.

The building itself has a lovely view of the gardens and over paddocks to the mountains beyond.
The hothouse is used to grow broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower in Winter, tomatoes in Spring and Summer, and to raise the seeds for the Potager garden (zuccinni, cucumbers, corn and tomatoes) for Spring planting. The gardens surrounding this cute building change with the seasons but is always bright and vibrant providing a splash of colour at the top of the driveway.
Nestled within the five acre grounds of Hartvale Gardens, is Hartvale Cottage - a luxury get-away for two adults. This charming barn-style cottage features a massive picture window framing gorgeous mountain and valley vistas and two lovely verandas on which to relax with a cup of tea.
The living room has a combustion wood fire, comfy chairs, smart TV, & reverse cycle aircon, there is a full, eat in kitchen, sumptuous King sized bed, and a bathroom with soaker bath. For bookings or more information please call Jennifer on 0404 531 555.
(Please note bookings are minimum 2 nights)
