The Gardens

Come along and enjoy the rambling gardens, commune with the ducks, chickens, guinea pigs, sheep & goats or just enjoy the environment and have a picnic. We are a shared community space. Schools, gardening clubs and other groups in our region also grow and enjoy plants in their own dedicated spaces.

Our Plant Sales

We sell an enormous range of excellent quality plants at wholesale prices to the public. These plants are nurtured onsite by our clients, volunteers and staff. The Secret Garden doesn't receive government funding. It relies upon the sale of plants to provide its services to the Hawkesbury, Hills and Nepean districts. So when you come to use our nursery, you're not only getting better quality plants at the most competitive prices, but you have become a part of a bigger not-for-profit mission to care for the people in our community

Volunteering

The Secret Garden would not survive without the help of our wonderful volunteers!
We are always keen to recruit new volunteers with special skills (or just a can-do attitude!) to come and join us. Whether you can give one hour or one week, or whether you are 15 or 105, we value your skills and appreciate all help.

Visitor Comments

I really enjoyed visiting the secret garden. They had a wide variety of plants for sale, a cafe, chickens, and horses ( riding for the disabled ). This is a true community garden run by a disability service and its clients.
